It's not everyday you get asked to review chocolate! Perks of being a blogger. Last week we had a yummy delivery and of course they had to arrive when I was ill so no chocolate for me until today when I have had the delightful task of eating these of course with the help of Amelia too.
Christmas is drawing in closer and I usually find myself frantically panicking looking for last minute gift ideas for awkward friends and family members. You can never go wrong with chocolate, who doesn't like chocolate? Tesco have a new range of affordable luxury chocolates created by master chocolatiers behind Hotel Chocolat and Harrods! These are prices from just £4 to an affordable £20.
We were sent two boxes of chocolates from the range to try out and share our thoughts. Firstly we were sent the Tesco Gingerbread Stars which are only £4 to buy! They are milk chocolate topped with caramelised biscuit and ginger crumble with white chocolate. I may have eaten the whole box in just under 10 minutes. They were very tasty! I have such a sweet tooth for chocolates. These however weren't overly sweet and are also suitable for vegetarians. I really like the packaging of the box and think they would even make a lovely Christmas stocking filler.
Next up we have the fabulously festive Chokablok Cherry Merry Christmas. I have to be honest and say that I'm not a huge fan of cherry but this was delicious! This is one for those who like fruity chocolate. It reminds me a lot of black forest gateau that's the best way I can describe it. This chokablok is 150g of smooth dark chocolate, bitter dried cherries and crumbles brownie, with a hint of extra sweetness from a swirl of white chocolate. This is a bargain at just £5! Perfect for everyone.
The affordable range is available at Tesco and I would highly recommend trying out the Marc de Champagne Truffle Selection as they are every chocaholics dream!
Have you seen the Tesco range on the shelf?
