Review: Nonabox Monthly Subscription Box (October)

We have once again been sent the Nonabox to review, you may remember me introducing you to the September box last month and showing you some fantastic products included. This month we were sent some more goodies to try out.

Included in the box
  • Leibniz zoo animal biscuits £1
  • Pasito dummy clip £15.90
  • Halos N Horns Baby moisturising lotion £4.07
  • Ellas Kitchen stage 3 thai curry £1.89
  • Cloud B sheep on the go £16.20
  • Pebbles pedi wand £2.99

To be honest I was quiet disappointed with the lack of products we received this time. This months box didn't seem as appealing to us and last months box was much fuller. I do believe we were suppose to have another item the UK Cloud B burp cloth and sheep pack (£31.50) as many others with the same items as us received one in theirs.

Also for a 18 month old toddler this box still had many baby products which are not toddler related products which I had hoped to see this time round. For example the dummy holder would be great for a newborn as well as the sheep on the go. The sheep on the go does look like a fantastic product however Amelia doesn't need soothing to go to sleep now that she is older.

We do however love the Zoo animal biscuits and I've even been to stock up on more since as we love them so much and the the thai curry went down a treat with Amelia too.

Again the pebbles pedi wand would be great in a box for an expecting or new mum but I'm not pregnant and don't have sore feet so this hasn't been used. The water wipes have come in handy for my changing bag once again.

Overall I would give this box 3/5 due to the fact that it wasn't aimed at a toddler.

I love the concept behind the Nonabox however I do feel that it would work better if each box was targeted at a specific age range. For example expecting mother, newborn, young baby, toddler. Especially as they claim that the Nonabox is suitable up to the age of two. Having said this our box would be fantastic for a younger baby I just think that it's not really toddler friendly.

Have you tried the Nonabox subscription box? Is this something you would purchase?

* We were sent this months Nonabox for the purpose of the review. As you can see all opinions are all our own and 100% honest as always.

  5. Having used Nonabox since it was released in the UK I must say that I have not found any of their boxes reflective of my stage of motherhood. I was also sent the biscuits and other food in the October box for my son who was not born until late December and contacting them resulted in more food being sent. There are occassional helpful items but I wouldnt reccomend them and have since cancelled.

  6. Same here - I cancelled my nonabox subscription after month 2 - I didn't find the products tailored for my baby at all so couldn't see the value. Shortly after I was recommended to Sassy Bloom by a friend who gave me a discount code which I used. You should try and review Sassy Bloom (not sure if Amelia is too old now?) - in my opinion - there's no comparison - I've had about 7 Sassy Bloom boxes now and just love them. We all look forward to them arriving each month, the items are really good and useful for Sadie - and the value is well worth it (one of my boxes I worked out was about £80 and I only paid £22.15!! if you want to check them out: www.sassybloom.com

  7. Hey there, a friend recommended nonoboxes to me recently and said she felt they were better value that the sassy bloom ones so now I'm confused! I know this is an old post but as my daughter is now 13 months I would want something more closely targeted to her age group. Have you received both and what were your thoughts? Thanks!
