Preparing For Christmas

This year as we are in the new house I want to go all out for Christmas and make it even better this year. Last year Amelia was much younger and didn't really understand much at all however this year she will be opening her own presents and interacting much more. I am so excited! I have been looking at Christmas decorations as we didn't really decorate the house last year, we already have a tree so we are all set with that but it's always nice the make the house feel all christmasy too. I won't be putting up any fancy lights on the roof of the house however I would love to have this Reindeer figure from the White Stores on our window sill or front porch isn't it just amazing! I'm also thinking of making a wreath for the front door but we will see if I have time. I am loving the gold and silver decor right now and think they will go well in our home.

I think I have finished the majority of my Christmas shopping well for Amelia anyway. All I need to buy her now is a easel which I have found a few online I just need to decide which one. You can let your children get creative with a fun easel which will create hours on endless fun especially in the play room and I have wanted to buy Amelia one for a while now. If you're stuck for ideas why not check out the wide range of children's toys and gifts at TJ Hughes. I then need to finish off the last few bits and pieces and Amelia's Christmas eve hamper with a few treats. I am much more organised this year and really can't wait to get in the festive spirit. As soon as we arrive back from  holiday we are putting the tree up.

Do keep an eye out for many festive posts over the next month or two along with many crafts, recipes and prizes to be won!

Are you excited for Christmas?
