Toddler Holiday Extras

1 Pillow pet // 2. My Carry Potty // 3. Toddler backpack & reins // 4. Armbands //
5. Pop up beach tent // 6. Jelly shoes // 7. Snoozeshade // 8. Hooded beach towel // 9. Totseat

You may remember my Baby Holiday Essentials post last year where I included a list of items we were taking abroad with us when Amelia was 6 months old. Of course she will still need the majority of the items on that list but as she will be 19 months old this time there will be more age appropriate items.

Taking a baby or toddler on holiday can be rather stressful which is why it's always a good idea to find products that will make travelling easier. Of course we will be taking the bare essentials such as nappies, wipes, clothes, food and sunscreen but these are just some of the items you may not think about but may come in handy to take abroad.

Pillow Pet - This is handy not only for travelling in the car and on the plane but also when at the pool, beach and even in the room if they get tired.

My Carry Potty is lightweight and easy to carry. There is no need to assembly so you are ready to go when ever your little one needs to go.

Backpack & reins - We bought Amelia one of these goldbug backpacks with reins attached not long ago. They are so cute and Ameiia loves carrying her monkey around on her back. This will come in handy at the airport if we're not using the pushchair and also at the resort as there will be plenty of gardens to roam around when not by the pool or beach.

Armbands - As Amelia no longer fits in the baby seat we will need to take her armbands along this time.

Beach tent - We are of course going on a beach holiday, in the dominican it will be around 30 degrees which is very hot especially for babies and toddlers. Having a tent handy is a great way to keep them sheltered from the sun and out of the uv rays.

Jelly Shoes - If your toddler is walking its a good idea to take along a pair of jelly shoes or sandals.  Jelly Egg have a fantastic range of children's shoes it's worth taking a look. These are great for by the pool and also at the beach. There are many different types available its always best to try them on before purchasing to ensure on the correct sizing.

Snooze shade - Amelia will still need to nap in the day and with it being really hot she will get tired. The snoozeshade is great for keeping the sun and heat off baby when sleeping. We are taking along our  petite star pushchair so this will attach easily.

Hooded beach towel - Aren't these just adorable! I found a few of them online with cute designs. I'm actually tempted to buy a few more! They will come in handy for throwing over Amelia to keep her warm when she gets out of the pool or sea. They are also good for being able to change underneath.

Totseat - I'm not too sure whether or not to take this yet but many place abroad do have highchairs and cater for children which is great but when going into the little villages they may not have ones there. It's always handy to have just incase. We are going to the Dominican republic but i'm hoping they will have plenty of highchairs at the resort!

We head off in just three weeks so I am currently buying last minute items and getting stuff ready as I don't want to forget anything! I will be sharing a post soon to show you what we are taking on the plane with us to keep her occupied and what's in her hand luggage. I hope you've had some ideas from this list if you have any suggestions do let me know below!
