Halloween Festivities

This month is flying by so fast I just can't believe it. We go on holiday in less than 6 weeks... bring on the pina colada! However for now I am looking forward to Halloween. Last year we didn't really do much if I'm honest. Amelia was only 6 months old and oblivious to it all.

This year we will be wearing lots of festive outfits, witch hats, cat ears and Halloween costumes. I think I have found Amelia's outfits! Yes I said outfits, I really wanted a few for her this year to get into the Halloween festiveness so be prepared for some photo overloads in the run up. I had seen many different costumes including american themed fancy dress for Halloween but decided to keep it simple. You will have to wait for the photo's to see :)

I'm looking forward to watching Hocus Pocus for the first time ever... yes I know where have I been?
We will carve pumpkins and then use them to make some pumpkin spiced soup.
We will go on nice autumn evening walks and collect leaves and conkers.
We will bake some Halloween treats and also eat our weight in yummy Halloween inspired foods.

I would LOVE a Halloween party but to be honest I don't have the time nor the energy to plan one.
However maybe when Amelia is older and I have an excuse to do one. I will however be picking up some Halloween paper straws along with a few other goodies.

Keep an eye out for some Halloween posts and in the meantime do check out my Halloween inspiration here

Are you all as excited for Halloween as I am?!
