I love Halloween, it's the perfect excuse to dress up and have some fun! Here are a few of my favourite DIY Halloween costume ideas that i have rounded up for infants and toddlers that you can create for your little monsters. Check out my Pinterest board for more Halloween inspiration to get your creativity flowing. Over the next few weeks I'll be sharing several Halloween ideas including recipes and crafts so do keep an eye out for them.
There are so many kid's costumes to choose from today it can be rather difficult to decide on a favourite which is why i have decide to dress Amelia up in two! You will have to wait to see her costumes, but i hope you like them.
If i had a little more time on my hands i would definitely be making Amelia's costume this year but hey i have plenty more years to do that yet. I absolutely love the Tinker bell and Red riding hood costumes pictured above how adorable are they? Also if i had a little boy he would definitely be dressed up as Robin Hood or a Scarecrow. You don't need to be crafty at all to make your own costume, there are plenty of no sew tutorials to be found where all you will need is some glue and scissors. Plus making your own can cost nothing at all if you already have the items lying around the house. You could make masks from cardboard in the recycling box.
I love that Halloween costumes can be used again and again for example at another children's party or playing dressing up at home - they aren't just for Halloween. For more Halloween festiveness check out my previous post on my excitement.
What will your kids be dressed up as for Halloween this year?
