Country Chic Living Room

1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7

I love browsing the internet and flicking through home catalogues in search for home furnishings and countless items i don't actually need. I am still indecisive on what colour scheme to go with for our living room however, i have been more drawn towards browns and neutral colours lately. I feel that is gives off a more country feel to the room, which is great as we do live in the country side! It will make the house feel more cosy in the winter, and i can't wait to get the fire lit!

In the past i wouldn't have looked twice at anything brown as it was about black and white for me. Since then, having gotten older i am now more adventures with colours and like more of the neutral shabby chic theme. We already have a corona shelving unit and have recently purchased a corona coffee table so i thought to match the rest of the room i would keep it brown and cream. I always like to start with the items of furniture first and work around the room incorporating coloured furnishings to match later on.

I have already bought the lamp table, lamp and curtains for the house so all i need to purchase now is some throws and cushions along with some wall art to complete the look!

Do you have decor colour theme for your living room?
