Twinkle 1st Curl Trinket - Goodheart Gifts Review

I am a huge fan of personalised baby gifts if you haven't guessed already. I love keepsakes that I can keep and look back on and show Amelia when she is older. When the lovely people over at Goodheart Gifts got in touch with me to review an item from their website I jumped at the chance and couldn't wait to share with you what we received at the end of last month.

With so much to choose from on their website I finally decided on the Twinkle 1st Curl Trinket from their baby collection. Upon opening the packaging I was greeted with this small pretty green box. I love the simplicity of it, the colour makes it stand out yet the detailing is pretty and simple.

Inside the box is the trinket presented in a soft tie pouch which is great for keeping it safe and clean. On the front of the trinket is a teddy bear and some stars with the words "My first curl".

I am extremely impressed with the quality of this trinket. It would make a perfect newborn, christening or first birthday gift. I am yet to actually fill it with Amelia's first curl, only because I'm too scared to cut her hair what little amount she does have. It's taken so long for her to get it, I don't want to cut it just yet. She has many curls in fact, but once she has enough hair I shall be cutting her first curl and placing it inside the trinket for keepsake.

Although you can't see in these images (it was particularly hard to get a clear enough image with my 50mm lense to see) the trinket is engraved with both Amelia's full name and date of birth. The engraved print is very clear and looks beautiful on each side. When ordering the trinket you have the option of two lines and up to 15 characters each side.

Overall I am over the moon with this gift and can't wait to fill it with Amelia's first curl. Many parents save their babies first curl along with many other firsts and personalised items. I think its a great touch being able to keep it safe inside this trinket for many years to come. It will also be great to see how her hair colour changes over time and when she is old enough I can show her and be able to say "This was your very first curl".

I would highly recommend Goodheart Gifts to anyone looking for the perfect baby keepsake. Don't forget to check out their website for plenty of gift ideas for both baby and adult. You can also follow them on Facebook and Twitter for their latest news and goings on.
