As a breastfeeding mum I know how hard it is to feel confident enough to feed Amelia in public. I struggled many a time when out and about and always resorted to going to the baby changing room or restrooms to feed her. If I had known about the Loveyish Nursing Scarf I think I would have been far more confident and even plucked up the courage to nurse where ever we may be.
When Bhakti, the brains behind Loveyish London got in touch with me to review this fabulous scarf I couldn't resist and was excited to try it out. I chose the Springfield design and I thought it would be perfect for summer.
Loveyush was founded by Bhakti when she discovered through her experience as a breastfeeding mum that she too was too shy to breastfeed in public but couldn't let her baby cry for food. The Loveyush Nursing Scarf provides a Practical solution for discreet breastfeeding and it turns into a Stylish Scarf when not nursing.
When the scarf arrived it was presented in this beautiful little box along with a linen bag and placed inside ever so neatly. I think this is a great personal touch and would also make a lovely gift for any mum to be or new mum!

What I love about this scarf it the fact that is is very pretty and looks just like any day item of clothing. This is great for when you out and about and needing to feed as you can just throw it over your neck and feed your little on discreetly. Even though Amelia now at 16 months covers pretty much everything when nursing I am still very body conscious and it's always nice to have a bit of privacy. I would have loved this scarf when Amelia was a newborn and it would have saved so many trips to the bathroom and sitting on the floor to nurse!
The material is extremely lightweight which is perfect for summer, meaning your baby won't be sweltering away underneath like they would be under a blanket. The material is also very silky and gentle against the skin, another added bonus especially with newborns knowing that the light material will not irritate them.
A fantastic feature to this scarf is the versatility. Once your little one is done feeding it can also be used as a stylish scarf. Another way to use it when you're not feeding is as a car seat/pram shade! It fits perfectly over a car seat or even on the pushchair and there's even a gap to peek in on your little one to see what mischief they are up to. I've had many friends and strangers ask me where I purchased it as they thought it was better than a parasol on the pushchair. So as you can see there are many other ways to use this scarf and not just for nursing. You are definitely getting your money's worth!
Overall I couldn't recommend this scarf enough to all my fellow breastfeeding mummies! I now take it everywhere we go and is definitely a changing bag essential. It's so convenient when popping out to the shops, out for food and when we go out and about. Passers by don't even look twice and most people don't even know you are feeding. I will most definitely be using this for many months to come and then again if we have another baby.
