GumiGem Review

Amelia got her first lot of teeth pretty early at around 3 months old and then had four top and four bottom ever since she turned eight months old they stopped coming through - nothing...until last week! Her 1st year molars have finally come through! When she was teething as a younger baby I never really noticed, she was a fussy baby most the time and would keep us up at night so when she was teething I never knew until afterwards. This time round she has made us very aware that her teeth were coming through being a real fuss pot and biting down on everything.

We were recently given the opportunity to review an item from GumiGem which couldn't have come at a better time! Gumigem have developed a really clever and innovative idea which offer stylish jewellery with teething babies in mind. All of the jewellery is made of non toxic silicone which is safe for baby to chew on.

All of GumiGem's pieces of jewlery are:
  • soft
  • washable
  • flexible
  • non toxic
  • chewable
I decided on this beautiful Gumidrop teething necklace in white and couldn't wait for it to arrive! Upon opening the packaging I was impressed at the quality of the necklace as well as how nice the packaging itself was. Perfect for a gift to a fellow mum!

We have been using the necklace for the last week or so and couldn't be more impressed at how it has helped. Amelia loves to chew down on the parts and also walks around the house with it around her neck (under supervision of course). It's perfect for when out and about and if i've forgotten to bring her a toy or Sophie the giraffe I just grab this out of the changing bag and she's happy.

I would highly recommend GumiGem to all parents with teething babies or toddlers and will definitely be recommending them to all of my mummy friends seeking advice on teething.

You can find more information about GumiGem and their products on their website and also follow them on Facebook and Twitter for their latest updates and promotions.

*Please note these necklaces are to be worn by the adult and not left with the child unsupervised as they are a hazard with the cord.

* We were sent this product for the purpose of the review. However all options are ours and as always 100% honest.

  45. These are very pretty! But none of mine ever had problems with teething, (I was very very lucky!) all of mine slept through the night from the word go, and I always waited for the teething screams, but they never came, had I had any problems though I would have loved to use something as pretty as these, funky! xxx
