Laugh out loud; good family fun is brought to you by the latest Croods game from Nintendo. The latest in the long line of Croods games, Prehistoric Party combines great fun with a variety of mini games that make up the title. The game is based on DreamWorks feature film based on the Croods family exploits and the Prehistoric Party mini games are loved by kids and adults alike.
An animated adventure
The Croods Prehistoric Party lets you join in the adventure with the lovable prehistoric family and play your way through 30 highly addictive party style games. Nintendo has put a lot of thought into these mini games and each one is unique, innovative and offers great gaming entertainment. Join the Croods on a hilarious adventure where you can explore spectacular landscapes in a make believe world and play with never seen before creatures in a colourful land, filled with surprises.
A while back I wondered if I should sell my Nintendo Wii and buy something more family friendly, but with games like the Croods being released I have seriously had to rethink that option. More family-friendly games are set to be released in the future and The Croods look like a good franchise for players of all ages wanting to entertain the younger generation.
Great family fun
The Croods: Prehistoric Party can be played as a 4-player multi-player game, or a single player can play against the Wii. Players can battle their friends and family in the party games or use the handheld device and game on their own, making it perfect for group or individual gaming fun.
Players can also choose to game as their favourite Crood family member and the theme ties in well with the recently released movie. Each game is relatively easy to figure out and the scoring system is simple yet concise. The games are engaging and follow the basic storyline of the movie, but even if you have not watched it you will still be able to get in on the action and become easily immersed.
Mini game madness with The Croods
The games graphics are essentially 3D and although they are quite blocky they are very appealing and entertaining. The mini games may be similar to other gaming compendiums of the past, but have some creative twists and roots with titles like Memory or Simon. As you progress through the games you unlock new puzzles until you reach your final goal of finding the Croods a new cave.
Whilst there are no difficulty levels to choose from, even the adults will find some of the games addictively challenging and the mini game with the four person light cycle is guaranteed to keep you amused for hours. It's a typically themed party game that offers light entertainment and some comic relief combined with puzzle games and animation. The Croods Prehistoric Party is a great video game adaption of the movie and has a certain appeal that kids will find addictive and adults may follow suit.
