Today marks the day summer is officially over for us...well it seems like it any way! It is so overcast here and it even poured it down for half an hour. It's still sweltering hot and feels like we are abroad in a tropical rainstorm. However it doesn't stop us from getting outside whenever we can! Amelia spent the morning in the garden as we don't have the car today - silly thing decided to break down and is now in the garage so we made do with what we had at home. I had all of her balls in a bucket from last week after emptying the paddling pool and she kept tipping them all out then chasing around the garden and putting them back in and repeating this about 100 times over. At least it kept her quiet for some time.
We've not been up to much else really as Andy's been working as well and I've just been too lazy in this heat. Amelia was slightly poorly the other day and hasn't been sleeping well either due to it being so blooming hot at night. We finally managed to get a fan from my brother as all the shops were out of stock, so that's been a huge help!
We are currently looking to move home as our landlord is selling up soon and we would like to move closer to work which is about 10 miles away from where we currently live. There's just nothing available at the moment and since we can only afford to rent it's very limited!!! I'm really fussy and it has to be the right house, ideally we would move into another three bedroomed house with a garden like we live in now, but we would actually push for a nice 2 bedroom is it's nice enough and sell a lot of our junk we've collected. I actually found a luxurious new apartment pretty much next door to work only thing is its two bedrooms and I don't think we could cope in a flat with Amelia. Hopefully something nice will come up soon so we can get a move on with it and start packing. Once I'm set on something I'm like superwoman and have to organise everything.
Hope you've all been enjoying the nice weather while it lasted...as I type this the sun is now back out so possibly it's here to stay - who knows!
