An Afternoon In The Sun

We had a lovely weekend enjoying the sun, even though we didn't do much. I am looking forward to Andy's day off on Thursday so we can go to the beach and spend time as a family. It's promising scorching weather all week so fingers crossed! Also I'm hoping the get the paddling pool out in the week for Amelia!

Yesterday I spent the afternoon blogging in the garden once I had got Amelia down for her nap. It was nice to be able to relax and sunbathe at the same time. I had a few too many cocktails and wrote up a few blog posts. Of course Amelia decided to wake up from her nap early so I got the wigwam out and brought her outside. We had a nice few hours eating strawberries, playing with soil and stopping her from trying to eat pebbles. I am loving this heat wave we are having, doesn't the sun make us all happier? It sure does make me happier!

Hope you all had a lovely weekend!

  1. I know that feeling well - sunshine just does that to me! Sounds like you had a gorgeous weekend. Sometimes you don't have to have any plans and it's still perfect, just because you stopped and smelt the roses. Love the little teepee and Amelia looks gorgeous as always. As do you! xx

  4. I love the wigwam. Put my 4 month old down for nap this afternoon and got my suntan lotion on and magazine and cold drink... just testing the baby monitor link in garden and she woke up.
