An Afternoon In The Garden

Friday brought us the beginning of this heat wave we are experiencing right now. It looks like summer may finally be here! We decided to spend the afternoon in the garden while daddy was at work. It was too hot for Amelia to be fully dressed so I just threw her swimsuit on, luckily she kept her hat on her head and she sat on the chair for a while in the shade too. We enjoyed eating strawberries, making cocktails and playing. I really need to get round to buying a paddling pool! We had some lovely weather yesterday too although I was in work, so didn't get to spend time enjoying it. Fingers crossed it lasts for as long as they are predicting so we can get to the beach on Andy's days off in the week.

Hope you are enjoying the gorgeous weather too!
