  17. I have been exclusively breastfeeding my son since birth, he is now 7 months old. It can be really tough in the early days but I am glad now that I was so stubborn about it! I love it for all the obvious reasons - the closeness, the health benefits for both of us, the convenience, the fact that it is free! I just hate how some other mums can be so judgemental, this is what surprised me the most really.

  30. I had to give up Breast feeding a combination of c-section, not producing enough milk, uterine infection and my little boy having torticolis. I gave it a good shot and Know he had at least got some of the goodstuff. Next time I will definatley be trying again, breast feeding is obviously the best and natural way but if circumstances prevent it, women shouldnt be too hard on themselves :)

  33. I breastfed for 11 months and its one of the loveliest things I have done. Each to their own though, and also I found it a bit painful at first but that disappeared after a week or so, you just have to get used to the "let down" of milk. So a myth I think that if it hurts "you're doing it wrong".
