Win a Family Day out at the Zoo!


I love going to the zoo, especially now that we have Amelia to show around too we have plenty of excuses to go and have fun! Now that summer is upon us even though the weather isn't quite sure what it wants to do, its the perfect time to get out and about with the kids! Which is why I have an exciting prize for you all up for grabs! I am offering one lucky reader a chance to win a family ticket to your nearest zoo! 

Rules:
Prize- Day out at the zoo for a family of up to 4. (Family ticket)*
Ends on 11th July at 12:00am GMT
Ticket must be used before Oct 1st.
UK Only (includes Ireland)

* T&C - This ticket includes 2 adults only and up to 2 children under 16. Any additional guests must be paid additionally. You can use this ticket at any zoo across the UK. You can still enter if you have no children or have young children. Ohsoamelia has not been compensated for this competition.

  14. We love Marwell - loads of animals and great play areas too. Our favourites are the ants believe it or not - you follow the leaf cutters from the leaves back to the nest, through miles of tubes! Great fun!

    I would love to go to Bristol Zoo. The gardens there are lovely and they have a whole family of gorillas that are wonderful to watch.

  22. I live quite close to Whipsnade Zoo, so I'd love to go there. Why do I want to go? I love animals and although I'm not a fan of animals in captivity, per se, I understand that zoos now play a vital role in animal conservation. And Whipsnade is fantastic. I don't get to go as often as I'd like to (I would literally LIVE there, if I could!) because of money issues, so to get a free day out there would be fantastic :-)

  24. I'd love to go to Chester Zoo! Its where I chose to go for my 40th birthday treat ;-) Its such a great place to spend time that a day doesn't seem like enough though. You could linger for ages just in the bat cave, or the tropical bird house or watching the elephants...sigh, it was fab!

  34. Blackpool Zoo! My girls loved seeing the giant tortoise as soon as they walked through the entrance last time, thier little faces lit up! :)

  41. south lake zoo in the lakes love it there such a fab and amazing zoo to walk around and the kids love it been a while so would love to win this so we can go u with the kids and last time are youngest theo was only a baby would be fab to see him get involved there <3

  45. Ooh Marwell Zoo is closest to me but I would love to take my niece & nephew to London Zoo. I went there as a child and was so excited to have a day in London seeing amazing animals...and hunting down Paddington Bear at Paddington Station!!

    Chester zoo- Our eldest child is 2 and a half and is completely mad on animals. A day at a zoo as big as Chester would be the most amazing thing in the world for him!

  166. Definitely Edinburgh Zoo as it is only a bus ride away. My son (6) really wants to go to the zoo but money is tight at the moment and it's not a cheap day out. 'When I get a job' is my usual answer to his requests. His enthusiasm has recently been re-kindled as he has been watching the Madagascar films. He had wanted to go to the zoo in New York but agreed to settle for Edinburgh! I hope that he is not disappointed when he sees the lions, hippos, giraffes and zebras for real!

    I would love to visit Colchester Zoo- I have heard it is amazing and you can even feed the elephants. They are my favourite animal and my son (5) has become obsessed with them since learning at school about how they are killed for their ivory. It would also make a great second birthday treat for my daughter next month- she's a little monkey!

  177. id want london zoo. i took the kids there about 5 -6 years ago and they were just builing the gorilla encloseure and i told the kids id take them back to see it when it was finished but as a mum of 5 its a sturggle getting the money together. when we went before the kids were younger so i didnt have to pay full price , things cost far too much these days!! id love to take them again, they really enjoyed it :0)
