UK National Breastfeeding Awareness Week & Giveaways


If you are unaware Britain celebrates National Breastfeeding Awareness week this June from 23rd-29th. As a breastfeeding mum myself this is something I feel extremely passionate about and have joined the Keep Britain Breastfeeding scavenger hunt along with many other bloggers to promote it's awareness. During this week I will be posting breastfeeding topics and also have a few competitions for you to win some breastfeeding goodies whether you are pregnant, breastfeeding or know somebody who is!

  6. Favourite Breastfeeding Benefit: I do not have to worry about sterilising, buying formula and we can just get up, pack a few nappies and go. Not to mention the health benefits for both Bubba and me

  10. favourite benefit of breast feeding is being so close to my little milkmonster so much of the time. looking into those gorgeous eyes peering up at me while she feeds! that and the health benefits!

  13. I think for me the biggest benefit is the money we've saved and can spend on other things, we've had big period of unemployment and being able to feed the baby and not worry about whether we can afford to has been very reassuring

  16. I suffer from a lot of allergies along with asthma and eczema, so I love the fact that by breastfeeding my little girl I can hopefully protect her from suffering the same.

  19. My favourite benefit is the convenience - I can just decide to go out, grab my bag and go. No bottles to sterilise, no kettle to boil, it's great!
