Does your babies cot look similar to this?...
Even though Amelia has only recently started sleeping in her cot every since she started standing up at 6 months she would pull her self up in it if we put her in there to play. Since then we have noticed a ton of bite marks! If only I had kept on the plastic protective strip that came with it when we bought it we wouldn't have this problem. However I have found a way to cover this up and decided to share with you too incase your cot looks similar or if you have a baby on the way be prepared for bite marks!
Choose your fabric! I decided on this pretty floral print as I was decorating the nursery and thought it went well with the theme. Also get a trusty pair of fabric scissors.
Now you want to measure out your fabric, you can of course your a measuring tap and do it properly but I didn't have time for this and my fabric wasn't long enough so I just went ahead and placed it over the cot. You should make it two sides thick and then cut where needed. I let it hang over the cot slightly so I had enough fabric to tie together.
Now go along and cut slots into the fabric on both sides evenly opposite each other. Make them long enough as you will be tying them together.
Go along and tie each front fabric with the one behind it all the way across and it will turn out something like above. Mine isn't neat as I was in a rush to do it in time for the money supermarket challenge however do make sure you tie double knots in them all as we don't want your little ones pulling it apart!
There we go...we have a lovely cot guard so your little one can't bite away on the cot! Hope this tutorial was helpful, if you have any questions do ask below!
