*Things To Do With Dad On Father's Day

Father's Day is this Sunday and I have been thinking of what to get Andy and my Dad for gifts. I usually find that it tends to get forgotten about unlike Mother's Day which there is such a big hype about. Andy will be working this year so we won't be doing anything on the day so we will most likely go out on Thursday for a family day. We don't really have any family traditions when it comes to Father's day I usually get my dad something nice and a toblerone ha! Fathers Day is that one day a year when we should all take the time and effort to show Dad just how much we care.

Here are some ways you can treat your dad Dad this Father's Day.

Breakfast in bed - Maybe you've been kind enough to let Dad have a lie in, if so get the little ones to help you prepare a breakfast tray and take it to him in bed. He will appreciate it!

Eat out - Book a table in a nice restaurant or pub for a family meal or even just for your and your Dad if you wanted to treat him yourself. If you have young kids organise a family day out. Many restaurants have special promotions on for Father's Day such as set menus and free beer!

Take a stroll down memory lane - Create a video of some home videos and photos and sit back, get out the popcorn and let Dad watch his favourite little people all together at your very own home cinema.

Plan a Picnic - If Dad loves the outdoors, plan an outing to one of his favourite nature spots. Pack a picnic that includes some of Dad's favourite snack and sandwiches and plan a few fun games for when you're done eating and enjoy a day out together.

Get messy in the kitchen - What Dad doesn't love a bit of home made cake!? Do the kids enjoy helping you bake in the kitchen? If so, plan a family cooking day so that dad can help too. You supply the ingredients and let them all make the mess!

Take a walk - Get outdoors and take a walk with your Dad. He will enjoy getting some exercise and baby will get some fresh air!

Still playing on your mind what to get Dad for Father's day whether it be your Dad or you are the wife take a look at these Rebus Signet Rings a great gift for any Dad.

Do you plan to do anything for Father's Day this year?
