Review: Cosatto Supa Boom Bloom Pushchair

Hi everyone, hope you are all having a lovely bank holiday weekend and are able to get out and enjoy the weather while it lasts. I love going on family days out, whether it be to the park, beach or zoo days out with loved ones are the ones I treasure the most. This summer now that Amelia is older we have lots of trips planned which I am looking forward to and I have a great pushchair that is perfect for day trips to share with you today!

I was recently given the opportunity to review the Supa Boom Bloom Pushchair by Cosatto. I have never purchased or tried any of the Cosatto range before so I was rather excited and couldn't wait for it to arrive! To my surprise it arrived the next day! I was extremely impressed at how fast their delivery service was. It arrived it a blue thin rectangular box which doesn't take up much room at all.

I couldn't wait to unbox it and get the pushchair all set up. I was really surprised at how easy it was to put together I was expecting there to be hundreds of tubes and wheels to put together but the majority of it was already built. I had it up within minutes and added the foot muff and hood which were both simple to attach and didn't even need to read the manual provided. To open up the pushchair there is a little leaver on the right hand side, once you tug slightly on that it opens up and you need to push down with your foot on the bars to keep it in place. After I had it all assembled I couldn't wait to get Amelia strapped in and took it out around the block for a test drive.

We have been using this pushchair for a little over three weeks now and cannot fault it one bit! This was the first 4 wheel pushchair I have had, in the past we have used out beloved quinny buzz but it is so impractical for getting in and out of the car with its two part pushchair and chasis. I couldn't believe how easily the supa was to push, the wheels are really sturdy and it was easy to manoeuvre. It fits so easily in the back of our car and was easy to open and close.

The design of this pushchair is very bright and vibrant and although I don't really like bright colours and designs this pattern is super cute and very summery! The great thing about the Supa is that you can remove the foot muff and liner for the summer allowing your baby to be cool. The foot muff is also reversible and comes with a kangaroo pouch to keep your little ones hands toasty in the winter. You can also remove the whole seat unit allowing you to wash it if you have accidents.

The front swivel wheels are a great feature! I love the fact that the wheels swivel around to allow ease of pushing the pushchair and allow you to go where ever you want to go. The wheels are also fully lockable if you prefer them not to swivel around.

The basket underneath the seat unit is rather hard to get to if the seat is fully reclined however I believe this is the case with the majority of pushchairs, we didn't find this a problem at all and it is a decent size allowing you to keep your shopping in there.

The brakes on the Supa are on either side of the wheels. On my travel system the brakes are a nightmare to use, in fact I don't think I've ever been able to get them to work so am never able to leave the pram anywhere. I found being able to use the brakes on this pushchair is wonderful! They are really easy to push down on and release too.

One thing I had to get used to was using pushchair handles and not one bar, which has taken me a while to get used to, however after a couple of weeks I have got the hang of and they are really easy to use. I also love that at the push of a button they expand - bonus for Andy being 6ft 5.5! He said it's great that Cosatto have though of taller parents as some pushchairs don't take that into consideration and he found it really easy to push when they were in use. We love the adjustable handles.

I was most excited about this feature! I always find myself with now where to put my drink especially if it is a canned drink, so with this cup holder I am in heaven! I can take my Dr Pepper everywhere I go. Andy was also impressed with this feature. You can attach it to either side and it clips on and off easily.

There is also a nifty pocket on the top of the hood which comes with a portable speaker! How awesome is that! Although I'm not the type of person to walk down the street with music glaring it is a fantastic feature to have and you could also put music on to soothe your baby whilst out and about. You can even attach your tablet and put on some kids show to keep them entertained. What a brilliant invention! I was actually pretty surprised by this as you can't really hear the music if you were to be passing by the pushchair although Amelia could do while sat in it which is good.

After using this pushchair for the past three weeks instead of the Quinny buzz I can say I am overally impressed. We have used it on the beach, a walk down by the lake, in town and out and about. It fits like a glove in the boot of our car and takes up no space at all which means more room for shopping yay! We will definitely be using the Supa for days out when we need to get in and out of the car quickly and for the beach too, there is loads of room for Amelia to grown into it, so we will have it for a long time.

I would highly recommend the Supa if you are looking for a 4 wheel pushchair that will last from newborn right up until they are too big to sit in it, also if you have a small boot this would be perfect too!

You can purchase the Cosatto Supa Boom Bloom for £180 and the Cosatto Supa is available in 5 other eye catching designs too!

*We were sent this pushchair for the purpose of the review. All opinions are my own.

  18. I've never been a fan of these kind of pushchairs. I like the big travel systems LOL and Rovi doesn't like these either but I can imagine them to be very practical we are opting for something like this for our next holiday - would be so much easier if I'm honest.
