New Plum Baby Savoury Range

We were recently sent some pouches from the new Plum Baby Savoury range to try out. If you are a regular reader of my blog you may remember me mentioning previously it has been a tough time trying to get Amelia to eat food. Which is where pouches come in handy as we tend to fill her up on these if she is having a fussy day or we are out and about. We have previously tried the Plum Baby Organic range which you can read about here.

Even though I do like to make a lot of Amelia food myself there are a few selected brands of baby food that I do buy, Plum Baby being one of them. We were sent three different flavours:

  • Broccoli & apple
  • Sweet potato, corn & apple
  • Pear, blueberry & purple carrot.
All three pouches went down really well and she loved them all. Her favourite seemed to be the sweet potato, corn and apple which she pretty much inhaled it she ate it that quickly. She has previously refused different flavours in the past but she seemed to be really liking these flavours. We have even stocked up on some more!

Plum recently launched their new range of savoury flavours to answer the concerns of parents that their babies may be developing a sweet tooth from an early age. The new range is packed full of interesting ingredients like quinoa and purple carrot and all smoothly blending to create a first weaning food.

Overall Amelia loved these pouches and it was great to introduce her to new flavours, even though she has tried different textures before. I would highly recommend the Savoury range to any mum looking to wean their baby. They are perfect for throwing in the changing bag for trips out for easy feeding on the go. I also like the fact that these flavours are all unusual yet good as your baby is getting all their needed nutrients and used to fruit and vegetables.

You can find out more about the Plum Baby Savoury range here and purchase them from your local supermarket. Also you can follow them on Facebook & Twitter for future promotions.

*We were sent these pouches for the purpose of the review. All opinions are my own. Read my disclaimer here

  3. A healthy and fresh food is quite essential for the mental and physical growth of your baby. The food which you are giving to your baby should rich in nutrients and vitamins. If you are going to purchase a ready-made baby food packet for you little one, you should check that it should contain all the desired nutrients in correct amount so that your baby can get all the essentials. You can also prepare fruits or vegetable purees at home which can be healthier for your little one.

  4. Solid food is as important as breast milk for proper nutrition in early days of a child's life. Recipes and general instruction for solid food which are started printing on cookbooks and food boxes are mainly made up of rice, grain, pulses which are processed with some liquid which is very nutritious at the same time. Apart from rice and cereals fruits and vegetables are also a main constituent of a baby food, solid food is easily available in market as well online.
