Letters To Amelia: 13 Months

It feels like only yesterday you turned ONE! This month has latterly flown by, you are now THIRTEEN months old! How did that happen? Okay so you actually turned 13 months on the 22nd but it's been a bit crazy and I have only got round to writing this. I know every parent says this, "This month we've seen the most change" but it's just so true! You change so much every month, your personality, your character and humour.

You are saying more words, you can say hi, bye, uh-oh, oww (ouch), mum, dad, yeah, no and a few other things which aren't actually words but you use them for the same meanings. Still no more teeth yet! Ever since all your 8 teeth came in many many months ago you've had no others through yet. I'm assuming they will all come through at the same time! I have no idea how much you weigh or how tall you are as they didn't actually check at your check up, so we will just never know. You are still petite but finally getting a bit bigger.

You are so funny when you run around minding your own business, rolling over and tying to do handstands. You have however started to get temper tantrums when you don't get your own way which  I have no idea where they came from. You are now sleeping in your cot which is a bonus- even though I do still love cuddles in our bed.

Your hair is finally growing and is curly!! You look like you have bed head every day - even if I brush it ha! It's at that stage where I can't do anything with it which is rather annoying. You are still in 9-12 month clothing as 12-18 is still too big on you however I'm sure it won't be long.

We have booked our next family holiday to Dominican Republic in November which we can't wait for! It will far more exciting this time as you were only six months old last time you will be 19 months this time round. Although, I am dreading the 9+ hour flight it will definitely be an experience, lets hope you behave. Wishful thinking huh?

Until next month,
Love Mum x

  6. Hi from a new reader! She is sooo cute, my eldest is 19 months and is petite like that too, was always teeny on weight charts. Her little sis will be the opposite though I think she's 8 weeks and will be a bruiser.

Your holiday sounds fabulous I bet you can't wait. L x
