Kiddy Click'N Move 3 Pushchair Review

Last month we were very kindly sent the Kiddy Click'n Move 3 Pushchair to test out and review from Kiddy UK. As a new mum I haven't had much experience in pushing around other pushchairs other than my beloved Quinny Buzz so when I was given the opportunity to put the Kiddy Click'n Move to the test I couldn't wait for it to arrive. I have always been a fan of a 3 wheel pushchair so when I found out this was a 4 wheel I was rather intrigued to see if I would be converted.

Kiddy is an award-winning, family-owned company located in Germany. With over 40 years of experience working with the automotive and juvenile products industry and establishing their own products, this company truly understands and specialises in the mobility of children. Kiddy products are  high-quality and worth every penny.

Kiddy Click'n Move 3 Features:

✓ Height adjustable handle ranging from 84cm to 118cm
✓ Comfortably padded 5 point harness system
✓ Adjustable 3 positions forward and parent facing
✓ Large Sunshade with integrated window, extended forward
✓ Built in umbrella in the safety bar which is also removable
✓ Spacious shopping basket with zip compartment. Max 5kg
✓ Removable front and rear wheels no tools needed
✓ Easy to use brake. Only one foot needed

Design

The overall design of the pushchair is very well built and thought out. I think that the quality is extremely good and the frame is sturdy. I really like the seat as its very similar to that of our current pushchair which I always look at when purchasing a pushchair. The frame is lightweight aluminium at approx 8kg which I didn't find to heavy. It is easy enough to carry to and from the car when folded. The only drawback I noticed was it's pretty big when folded and didn't fit in our car easily. We had to put it in the back seat instead of the boot. However you don't have to take the seat of when collapsing the pushchair which is an added bonus. I love the colour, I think I have a love for black pushchairs and baby products, everything we have bought is black, which is great as can be used again in the future.

Parent facing

I love this feature, I still to this day keep Amelia parent facing when out and about in the pushchair, I like to keep an eye on what she's up to and it's also much easier to entertain her when she is fussy. I found it really easy to remove the seat and turn it around the other way too. Andy even did it with Amelia still sat in the seat which I was impressed with as in her previous pushchair we would struggle. At a click of a button on either side of the frame we were able to remove the seat and flip it round.

Forward facing

When we turned Amelia around so she was forward facing she loved it! She was able to be nosey and wasn't really bothered at all that she was facing the other direction. It was easy enough to manoeuvre the pushchair this way round. The only thing I did notice was it felt like I was miles away from her, because the handle is quite large it sticks out not allowing you to be closer to the pushchair. I like to be able to reach her if her dummy falls out or she drops something without having to stop moving the pushchair. Other than that it was a nice change to have her forward facing and I will definitely do it more often now when out on walks.

Brake

The easy click foot brake on the Kiddy is one pedal making it easy for foot control. The brake is immediately responsive and I found it to do its job brilliantly. I have always been disappointed with the brake on our previous pushchair so this was a relief to see that it actually works. I have no faults with the brake and it's situated right in the center for easy access.

Wheels

The wheels on the Kiddy are all removable allowing for easy access to fit in small spaces. The front wheels are both lockable if you's prefer for them not to be swivel. We have tested the pram on a number of various types of terrane such as pebbles, concrete, down in the woods, along the pavement and we haven't had any problems with it at all. They wheels are very practical for where ever you wish to go.

Spacious Basket

One thing that sells a pushchair to most mums is the size and quality of the shopping basket. Kiddy have thoroughly thought this out, and have invented a spacious yet well equipped basket. This basket comes with a zipped compartment with storage pockets and has a capacity to hold 5kg of shopping! I was extremely impressed with this and I love the fact that it comes with a zipped compartment allowing you to lock it too.

The Good:

Comes with a large sunshade which can be pulled right down over your baby to keep sheltered from the sun, This also comes in handy if it starts to rain when out and about and haven't got the rain cover. There is a build in umbrella hidden in the safety bar which I thought was a pretty cool added feature.

The pushchair is easy enough to open and close which was a bonus to me as with our previous pushchair we have had a lot of difficulty. Amelia seemed really comfy in it every time we have been out in it. The seat is very well padded for added comfort and the harness is very secure also. The Kiddy Click’n Move 3 can also be combined with all Kiddy infant carriers, carrycots and seat units.

The Not So Good:

Personally I feel that the handle is too high, I'm not short either so for a shorter person I'd be surprised if they could actually see over the handle. On the other hand for someone like Andy who is 6ft 5.5 you wouldn't have a problem. It just seems really big in my eyes and could have done with an option to make it shorter or taller depending on preference. It also makes you feel as if you are meters away from your baby. Also when collapsed it's not the smallest of pushchairs, which isn't a problem if you have a 4x4 or family car however we have a Ford Fiesta Zetec which is still a decent sized family car and we struggled to get it in our boot. Other than that I can't think of any improvements to make.

Summary

Overall I am extremely impressed with this pushchair and I am now converted into using a 4 wheel pushchair. The design of the Kiddy is very modern and have enjoyed putting it to the test. I would highly recommend the Kiddy Click'n Move Pushchair to any parents looking for a new pushchair that meets all safety and easy to push around and not too pricey either I would consider purchasing this pushchair.

You can buy the Kiddy Click'n Move Pushchair online for £275. Don't forget to check out the Kiddy UK website and check out their other fantastic products. You can also follow Kiddy UK on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

  7. Looks like a good pushchair, especially as you have the choice whether to have them facing forward or whoever is pushing them, which not many offer. Thanks for the review.

  15. I think pushchairs are quite a personal choice and actually very dependant on your budget. we may all want a rolls royce or BMW but can only aford a ford!

  32. I would totally use photos of my son on a new phone case! I have been wanting to get one of these!

  33. I like the way you use a picture editor instead of just talking about the features. I'm talking about the text and arrows and all that. It makes something potentially boring (right?? a stroller review should be boring!) into something kind of delightful. :) Also good for you for getting free stuff! I can't wait until I get to the point where I get to review stuff. Not enough followers yet. One day! One day.

  89. Wow, what a great review. While I don't have a child to push around in this fantastic stroller, I think my furbabies might enjoy a ride! LOL!! Even though I don't have a child, this would be perfect for my niece. She was born last August with Phelan-McDermid. She loves rides in strollers.

  90. Maybe I'm the only one that thinks that is a bit steep for what you are getting? I do like that the basket below is easy to get to, though.
