Limited Edition Babasling Review

A while ago we were kindly sent a Babasling to review and try out. I have never tried Amelia in a sling before so this was all new to me but I couldn't wait to get it on. We have a baby bjorn which was great when Amelia was younger we would go for walks and put her in it but now that she has just turned one it has become a bit of a struggle to fit her in it and a strain on my shoulders.

Please note Amelia was being extra fussy when we went out with her on this occasion and by the end of our walk she had wriggled about too much that the sling had moved down so to avoid any more tantrum's we quickly got some photos. With a younger baby I would recommend ensuring that the logo is further up towards your shoulder to provide a comfier ride and ensuring baby is positioned correctly. When they are older they move about much more and won't stay in that position.

The BabaSling is a versatile baby carrier with at least five carrying positions, including two breastfeeding posisiotns to nurse discreetly. You can check out the BabaSling website for many different positions and a step by step guide on how to wear the BabaSling. Upon opening the sling I was really impressed with the quality of the sling, it is made of 100% cotton and is also machine washable. The Baba Sling is a popular hammock style sling it is like a traditional ring sling but had buckles making it quicker, easier and safer to wear.

Now that Amelia is older we use the side swaddle position as many of the others are for younger babies. I wish I had found out about this product when Amelia was a newborn as this would have been a lifesaver around the house! I look forward to using it with baby number two! After wearing and adjusting the Baba Sling for the first time there is no need to readjust it every time you put it on. The shoulders have extra padding making it extra comfortable to wear. I found that I could wear it for long periods of time and that is with Amelia being in it at her weight. She is now roughly 23lbs so will still get good use of it. She even fell asleep in it and I managed to do the hoovering when she was being super fussy one day and I managed to lay her down next to me and unbuckle the sling so I didn't disturb her and could get on with the housework.

The sling can be used from newborn right up until they are around two or 33lbs which is fantastic! It is available to buy in a range of gorgeous colours and I was able to choose the Classic Limited Edition Rococco which is a lovely design. The pattern is beautiful and make the sling much nicer than a plan black of white sling. BabaSling have slings for every season with classic, lite or cozy and also have organic slings too. The sling comes in a small bag which is perfect for throwing in your changing bag or under the pram for days out.

Overall I would recommend this sling for any parent with a newborn or a small baby wanting to babywear or breastfeed discreetly. Amelia is pretty petite for her age so I didn't have a problem carrying her in it but a few people I know with heavier babies have found it straining.

You can purchase the BabaSling for £44.99 and also check out the full range of colours on their website.
