A Walk In The Woods

Hi everyone! After work the other day I decided to take Amelia for a walk to a nearby forrest and of course this meant a photo opportunity! It was such a gorgeous day, the hottest of the year so far actually... and of course I was working! I didn't let that ruin my day and as soon as I got in I got changed, got Amelia ready and we took off in the car. It is only a 10 minute drive from us. We have so many beautiful walks around us which I am yet to visit but that is a task of mine. I want to get out more this summer and especially with Amelia being older now we can get out as much as we like. I look forward to many family days out to the beach, camping, the park, up the mountains, down by the lake the options are endless. We live in Snowdonia, one of the largest national parks in Wales there are so many places to go and see.

What do you like doing for family days out?

We don't have that many places super local to us sadly, however if we hop on a train for 30mins or so in any direction...the walks are endless! ^_^ If the weathers right, we'll venture out :) x

  9. We are very lucky where we live too - just within 30 minutes drive in any direction we can choose from miles of golden beaches along Bournemouth bay, the New Forest National Park, the rugged Jurassic Coast and Purbecks, beautiful Poole Harbour and lots of gardens and parks to choose from. Hopefully we'll have a good summer so that we can get in lots of walks and picnics.

  25. A Walk in the Woods is the title of one of my favourite books by Bill Bryson and tells of his long distance walk. Its something I'd like to do but I'm too soft to carry all my clobber in a rucksack so I stick to day trips and about 8 - 10 miles! I love being outdoors!
