Tommee Tippee Weaning Products

Now that Amelia is older and actually eating her food I have been looking for some products to keep her food in and not end up on the floor. We were kindly sent some products from the Tommee Tippee explora range to try out with Amelia. We were sent the Magic Mat and Section Plates which I couldn't wait to test out. Amelia is forever throwing her plates, food anything we give her on the floor while sat in the highchair. It has been a nightmare to get her to actually eat anything we give her-until much recently and these products have been a big help!

The Section plates come in a pack of two, we were sent them in a lime green colour which is really nice and bright. I really like these plates as you can use it with the Magic Mat to keep it secure to the highchair. The plate is a decent size much bigger than other weaning plates I have seen which is fantastic as you can add more food to your babies plate.

What I really like about these plates is the fact that you can section off different types of food so they don't all get mixed up and you baby can still be introduced to various different types of food. We have been using them for a couple of weeks now and love them! The three sections are all nice and deep and allow baby to get their little hands in and get food out easily. The plates are also dishwasher and microwavable safe which is always a bonus.

So with Amelia pulling at all her plates and bowls I was most excited to test out the Magic Mat as I had heard so much high praises about it. This mat has literally saved my life...and back! The Magic Mat has a non slip, easy grip with a easy release tab that will stick to all flat surfaces.

Since using the Magic Mat I have noticed Amelia trying to grab at it and it hasn't come loose once! I think she gave up after the first time to be honest. The suction is really good and it takes some force to pull it off. I did notice that it stuck down better if you wipe the surface of the highchair with a damp cloth beforehand.  I love that you can take it anywhere with you, perfect for when out and about to keep plates and bowls in place when in a restaurant.

Overall, I am very impressed with the Tommee Tippee weaning table wear and will be sure to purchase more products in the future. I would definitely recommend these products to any parent who is starting to wean their toddler or struggling to keep their babies food on the table!

You can find Tommee Tippee's weaning range and other products here and also follow them on Facebook and Twitter for their latest updates and promotions.

  1. The tommee tippee mat and plates were a life saver for us too. In fact now I still attach Isla's normal plate on one (some normal plates stick to the mats too) as it means the plate doesn't slide about on the table so it makes eating easier. I think they're well worth what you pay for them.

  2. Thanks for the review! My little one is starting on solids (today!), so I'll be in the market for something like this. :)

  3. Nice read! Being the mother of a small child, it has always been fun for me to shop for baby weaning products. Walking through the weaning product shop is enjoyable as there are many colorful products to choose from. I usually feed my baby using a cup and a spoon. If you search on the internet, you will find such a wide selection of baby feeding products so you can easily afford them. You can buy an entire set of feeding supplies within your estimated budget. With these weaning products making your own baby food at home can be quite simple.
