I have been trying to find a new facial cleanser for many months now and was recently sent the Philosophy Purity Made Simple cleansing gel to review and was really excited to try it out. Purity Made Simple is an award-winning, one-step daily facial cleanser designed to remove makeup, cleanse, tone and lightly hydrate the skin.
I have been using this cleanser every day for the last couple of weeks and I am very impressed! First of all I love the scent of the cleanser, it is quite herby and lavender I'd say which is really refreshing. It squirts out of the tube really easily. After washing my face with this cleanser I feel like I'm not putting any chemicals on it. It also doesn't dry out my face and I found it to be very moisturised.
You only need a small amount each time as it is quite concentrated on the skin. It is a thick gel which lathers up slightly, don't expect a lot of foam as its not very foamy. Philosophy also claim that is removes makeup which is does. I don't really wear much makeup nowadays just a minimal amount of foundation, eyeshadow and mascara, but I did find that it removed them without any problems. I found that it left my skin feeling very refreshed after each use and I have enjoyed using it.
I really like the way the bottle is presented in a clear tube easy to see how much is left inside and the branding is really clear and easy to read too. The colour makes it look refreshing too and different than your usual pink or coconut lotions.
I have never used any products by Philosophy in the past, however now I will definitely look more into their range for some other facial and body products. I would highly recommend this cleanser if you are looking for a daily facial cleanser that is great for sensitive skin.
You can purchase this facial cleanser by Philosophy for £16.25, which in my eyes is pretty pricey for a cleanser however it is definitely worth it if you are looking for a great cleanser and it lasts forever!
Have you tried this brand before? What did you think?
