Last month we were sent some Munchkin feeding products to test out. We have been using them over the month and here I will be sharing with you what we thought of them. You may have seen my recent post of Munchkin bath time products which we loved so much and use them religiously at bath time.
When it comes to meal time in our house, it can be a bit of a struggle to get Amelia to eat anything. The majority of the time she refuses to eat what we give her and she will throw it on the floor which results in me trying to trick her to open her mouth or end up giving her quavers as it's the only thing she will eat! I have tried on numerous occasions to get her to eat whether it be letting her eat herself from the high chair tray, out of a bowl/plate or giving it to her in her hands and it would all end up the floor!
So when we were sent the Click Lock Super Suction Bowl I was over the moon! Finally she couldn't throw the bowl on the floor we were getting somewhere. Even though she would still throw her food on the floor half way through at least she couldn't knock the bowl over. The bowl sticks to the table really easily and you have to have some force to pull it off. She did eventually pull it off but a younger baby wouldn't have the strength to do so. It is perfect for putting any food in and taking out in the changing bag for the day. The lid twists on and off and clicks shut which means you are less likely to have any spillages in your bag. The suction base is really good, it will stick to most surfaces as long as they are flat. If it happens to come loose or lose it's seal I would just press it back down to secure.
An added bonus is that you can use the suction base with any bowl or plate so it doesn't limit you to just using the click bowl which is very versatile!
The Munchkin Meal Time Set has had great use over the past few weeks especially seeing as I have been out and about with mummy friends for lunch and play groups it has been put to great use. The box comes with three compartments - a main area for sandwiches or something savoury, and then it has two smaller compartment. Each compartment has its own lid and the two smaller ones have removable inserts made for easy cleaning. This also comes with a toddler sized fork and spoon and there is also a space on the base to write your child's name great for nursery. I have found that the box has kept all of the food nice and fresh and with the bread it didn't go stale which I have found with other boxes. I also like the fact that you can keep all your food together in one box but it is all separate too. I can see this being used for years to come!
The Click Lock Sippy Cup is another great product we have been using recently. We have had a love hate relationship with all bottles with Amelia seeing as she is still breastfeeding. However I thought we would give it a go. She doesn't quiet get the grasp that she needs to hold it up as she doesn't with other bottles either and usually just plays with them and chews on the teat. But when holding it for her she would sup away. I can see it being a great product within the next few months when she isn't nursing anymore. It is really easy to clean and I like the fact it has an insulated cup inside which means in the summer the water won't get too hot to drink. I can not fault this product one bit. The spilt proof mechanism works wonders and not a drop spilt when I tipped it upside down. What's more is there is only 3 parts to the bottle! Which is great and easy to put together unlike some other similar sippy cups.
Also don't forget to check out their full range of products online.
