Boob Nursing Review & Giveaway - WORLDWIDE! [CLOSED]

If you are a regular reader of my blog you will know that I breastfeed Amelia and it is coming up to 1 year next week and we are still going strong! Breastfeeding is an amazing feeling and a special bond between mother and baby. While breastfeeding may be as easy as whip out your breast and pop baby on to feed it can also have it's downsides. For instance leaky boobs and cracked nipples. This is where Boob comes in. Boob have created a nursing range for breastfeeding mums to make breastfeeding that little bit easier, especially for a first time mum.

I have to admit, I do not own a single nursing item of clothing whether that be a bra or a tank top. I decided not to buy any when Amelia was born. I managed with just my usual everyday bras. The main reason was because I couldn't find any that had a nice pattern and they are so darn expensive that I opted to get by with my everyday bras. Now sometimes this was fine as I could just pop half of the bra down to feed and that would be fine but it can get in the way and is a real struggle if Amelia is fussing at the time as she can't feed properly.

When Boob Design sent me the Dotted Fast Food Nursing Bra I couldn't wait to try it out. When it arrived I was immediately surprised by the amazing quality of the bra. I chose the size Small as that is what my measurements came under and it fitted like a dream when putting on. I am usually a B cup and went up to a C in the first few months of breastfeeding so I would perhaps opt for a bigger size as your breast usually increase with the milk. What's more the size can also be altered with an additional hook & eye ribbon, supplied with every bra.

I have been wearing this bra along with a normal everyday bra of mine this past week and I have to say I think I have been converted! I wish I had decided to purchase a few nursing bras when I gave birth as it would have saved a lot of trouble and faffing around with straps, hooks and buttons.

The bra is super soft and is made of 92% polyamide and 8% elastane. The clip is really easy to undo with one hand which is always a bonus with a baby in the other arm and it pulls right down revealing the breast. This makes breastfeeding so much easier instead of having to mess around with bra straps and so on. The bra has a deep cut with a thin lace edging and wide adjustable straps with nickel-free details. I really like this design as like I said previously its hard to find nice nursing bras.

Overall I would definitely recommend the Fast food nursing bra to any expecting mum or new mum who is breastfeeding. Boob Design also have a lovely selection of maternity and nursing wear which I absolutely love! I wish I had found out about them sooner. I will definitely be purchasing a few items with baby no 2.

The Fast Food Nusing Bra is available to buy from Boob Design at £45
You can find Boob design on Twitter and Facebook to keep up to date with their latest promotions.

  14. I've never had much of a bust, but now i'm 6 months pregnant, it's a different story! None of my bras fit properly, and when I take it off, it looks as though its still on because of the attractive indentations left by them! Would love a pretty maternity bra - just like this! Most are so ugly :)
