Review | Vulli Chan Pie Gnon - Yellow Gnon

We were recently sent the Vulli 'Gnon' teether to test out and review. Gnon is one of three available from the collection and you can purchase them in a choice of three colours. 'Chan Pie Gnon' comes from the French word 'Champignon', which means mushroom. Hence why they made the teethers shaped like a mushroom. Each individual teether has a different characteristic to it. For example;  Chan has a 'nipple' if you like at the top which would probably be great for breastfed babies! Pie has two little stumps on its head and Gnon has a rubber ring on it's head. All three look different but all do the same thing - help relieve pain from teething babies.

Just like Sophie the Giraffe, Gnon is made from natural rubber and your baby can chew on it safely as it is non toxi and is made with food paints. Gnon has a slightly thinner feeling than Sophie and has a handle growing out of the mushroom's head which is great for little fingers and to chew on too. I found that the squeak is slightly softer than Sophie's high pitch squeak which is great! Unlike Sophie, the Gnon has no yucky taste or smell. With Sophie, I found it tasted really rubbery which can't be nice to suck on.

Features:
- 100% Natural Rubber which is soft, safe and non-toxic for baby
- Phthalate free and no PVC
- Ring on head helps soothe sore teething gums
- Makes a soft squeak
- Has Non-Toxic food-grade paints on its body
- Lightweight design easy to grasp and hold

We bought Amelia a Sophie the Giraffe teether when she was born and as soon she we thought she was teething we gave it to her. She loved it and it would go everywhere with us, however the squeak got unbearable sometimes! The squeak on the Gnon is a much softer pitch and Amelia loves to chew on it. We have been using the Gnon for the past week and I think it may have beaten Sophie and is now easily Amelia's favourite toy to chew on! She loves to squeeze its belly and hear it squeak.

Overall - I would recommend this Vulli Gnon to any parent with a little one who is teething. You can introduce it from birth which is great for those early teethers and even for just playing with. I think Vulli have another fantastic product which I am very happy we have be introduced to!

Vulli Chan Pie Gnon are available to buy in either Pink, Blue or Yellow and can be purchased here. I will be buying the other two to add to the collection.
