Supplies needed:
-Brown or White Sugar
-A Jar to store the scrub in
-Vanilla Extract or some scent
-1/4 cup of almond oil
-Labels/ribbon if wanting to make a gift
-A Jar to store the scrub in
-Vanilla Extract or some scent
-1/4 cup of almond oil
-Labels/ribbon if wanting to make a gift
1. I didn't use exact measures as I wasn't making a big batch up. So I used about 1/2 a cup of white sugar (you can use brown if you wish) Poured that into a bowl and mixed with almond oil. If you don't have almond oil feel free to use olive oil it works just as well.
2. I then added about 2-3 tbs of vanilla extract of course you could use some different essential oils.
3. Spoon the mixture into you jar of choice and label or decorate.
So there you have it - a simple and easy homemade body sugar scrub which may not even cost you anything if you already have the supplies in your kitchen.
Have you ever made any homemade lotions or scrubs?

This is such a good idea! you come up with some great D.I.Y projects! will have to give this one a go x

ReplyDeleteThat is SUPER simple! I actually used to just use sugar and scrub my body with it because someone who sugared (like waxing) my eyebrows once told me it helps prevent ingrown hairs (which it does for me). This would probably be a lot nicer than having a bag of shower in my bathroom though haha.
