Tropic Skin Care that was created by finalist Susan Ma. Although she didn't win Lord Sugar has invested his money into the company so I immediately thought this brand would be worth the hype! I remember her mentioning the brand back then and being very intrigued at the time but hadn't heard anything about it until more recently.
I was kindly sent the Body Love Butter Cream(*) to try out and I have to say I love it! Upon opening the box I was immediately drawn towards the packing which I must say is designed beautifully and is very classy and unique - perfect to give to anyone as a gift. The Body love butter cream is made with natural plant extracts and is also vegan which in my eyes is definitely a bonus! This body butter is packed full of shea butter, rich cocoa, macadamia oils and Vitamin E to rejuvenate and protect your skin. It also contains sea kelp which is said to extract your skin to firm up and improve the elasticity.
The body butter smells divine especially with the range of scents it is infused with. These include Lemon Myrtle and Orange Blossom. This body butter is one of the nicest fragrances I have smelt in a body butter and leaves your skin smelling yummy. However it smells more like lime than lemon or orange in my opinion - very citrusy although it's not too overwhelming and it lingers for a few hours.
The body butter's consistency isn't too thick and it absorbs into your skin really well. I can't stress enough how amazing this left my skin feeling afterwards! The body butter spreads easily with fingers and applies just like a cream. I was amazed at how well it spread over my skin leaving my body feeling hydrated for hours. It didn't leave my skin greasy like some body butter's have done in the past. If you have very dry skin I would recommend this product for you. I get dry skin near my elbows now and again and after using this for the past week I have already noticed a difference! I would also recommend using this product if you are after a body butter that will naturally look after your skin.
So far, I've used the butter every day this past week, and every time have used a considerably reasonable amount. I can imagine that one tub (100ml) will last me around 1 month so for the price, I definitely think it's worth it! I really want to try out the rest of the Tropic Skin Care range especially the eye roll on. They have cleansers, toners and lip balms too! Oh and Tropic Skin Care also don't test on animals, and it's made in the UK!
Let me know if you've tried out any of the Tropic Skin Care range and what you think. I must get my skin prepped for the summer!
