DIY | Knitted Leg Warmers

Have you seen a nice pair of leg warmers in your favourite shop lately however found them to be quite pricey? Well why not make your own for FREE! All you need is an old sweater/cardigan and presto! Here I will describe to you how to make your own pair of Knitted leg warmers to go with your boots/UGGs for the winter.

Supplies:
Old Knitted Jumper/Cardigan
Fabric Scissors
Fabric glue or sewing kit/machine

1. First of all you need an old Sweater or Cardigan that you don't wear anymore. Put the sleeve on your leg like you were to put on a pair of leggings  Decide how long or short you want them, take them off and cut across where you want the height to be.

2. Next step you can either put them on straight away or you can tidy them up a bit by using glue or a sewing machine and fold the bottom and tops over to make them neater.

3. There you go do the same with both sleeves and put them on!

It's as easy as that! Now you can go out and keep warm and no-one will know that they are DIY leg warmers. I've made a few in different colours to go with different outfits.

Hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
