DIY Elastic No Tug Hair Ties

Do you always end up with kinks in your hair after tying it up all day or do you suffer from bad split ends? These elastic no tug hair ties should do the trick! They are simple to make and many people are selling them on Etsy. I already had tons of elastic left over from making headbands previously and decided to make my own. You can buy the elastic from Ebay, Etsy or many craft shops and they come in a variety of colours and patterns.
Supplies needed:
Elastic
Fabric scissors
Help to measure(or use your own wrist)
1. Choose your elastic and measure it around your wrist to get the correct length allowing a few centimeters of spare elastic at the end to be able to tie together.

 3.  You will then have your Hair tie, next you will need to either cut off the frayed ends or use a match or lighter to do so.

And Voila! There you have an Elastic no tug hair tie! Now go and make some more in a ton of colours!

I Hope this tutorial was easy to follow. If you have any questions please feel free to leave them below.
