DIY Baby Leg Warmers

I recently made Amelia a few pairs of leg warmers and I thought I'd share with you how easy they are to make! Have you got a ton of old jumpers hidden away in your wardrobe what better than to use some cute patterns and make some leg warmers for your little one!

Supplies:
Old Jumper/ Adult knee high socks
Fabric scissors
Fabric glue or sewing machine/kit

 1. You can use an old jumper or a pair of your own knee high socks. You need to cut the soles off if you're using socks and if it's a jumper cut it down to the right length.
 2. Next you need to either glue or sew the bottoms up. I used fabric glue as I'm not good with sewing.
3. I wanted to add some colour to these boring grey leg warmers so I used some old leopard print fabric and  stuck that to the top. Also at this stage you want to cuff the tops over the fabric to make the tops look better.

And there you go! Your very own baby leg warmers! These are super cute to go under a dress or just with a baby grow. They are so easy to put on and you don't even need to take them off to change babies nappy! The pink ones are made from an old jumper of mine. I added the frills from the bottom of the jumper to make it look girly. The middle ones aren't actually made by myself(they were a gift) but all the others I made are in the wash.

Go and give it a go!

  10. What's great is the jumper body can be made into a pillow. I made a jumper pillow but had no idea what to do with the sleeves.

    Thanks!
