Dear Amelia, I haven't done a weekly update since you turned 12 weeks so here's just a quick update of what you've been up to lately. It's been a busy week in the Wilson residence. Your Great Grandparent's have been down this week to visit, and you have seen them quiet a few times. They took us all (my mum and Craig too) out for a lovely afternoon meal on Thursday to daddy's restaurant where you behaved so well. Uncle Craig has been home too from his RAF base as he is on leave for a whole month, so I'm sure you will see him again before he goes abroad. On Tuesday daddy broke my car and had to be taken to work in the back of a police car. So we decided to finally get rid of it and look for a new one. Your Nana kindly drove us to the car lot on Wednesday so we could have a browse and we decided on one we both liked. We were able to pick it up on Friday and we are not the proud owners of our first family car. At the moment we don't need two. Mummy also received a parking ticket in the post this week too (my first one EVER!) it won't be happening again. Of course it's partially daddy's fault too, as he said it would be fine to park there without getting a ticket we had two hours for free. So that's another £50 I have to fork out on.
-You are now grabbing both of your feet up to your mouth
-Your voice has become louder (if that's even possible!)
-When you wake up in the morning you squeal and make funny noises until Daddy and I wake up too
-You are officially out of 0-3 clothes, I tried my best to get the last few wears out of the best outfits, but sadly I had to pack them all up earlier this week.
-Your nursery is just about finished, just a few bits and pieces to add
-You love the sound of your voice
-Your grasp is really strong and you are getting even stronger on your legs
- Finally getting better at sleeping through the night, yay! about time I got more than 4 hours in a row
-You can now tolerate being on you back unlike a few weeks ago you would get frustrated
I look forward to taking you swimming again next week with daddy and maybe a walk somewhere in your baby carrier. These have been the best 15 weeks of our lives, I can't believe how quick it has gone!
All my love,
