Lazy Sunday...Walk in the woods

Today we decided to have a lazy day(like everyday for me), Andy had a day off work so we went for a walk with Amelia to a forest nearby. It was also the first time we tried out the baby carrier. Surprisingly Amelia enjoyed it and didn't kick up a fuss when we woke her up as we got there (it was a 30 minute drive so she fell asleep). Andy carried her first, the harness seemed to be a bit looser on his shoulders for some reason and because Amelia was still sleepy we decided to have her front facing to begin with. She looked so funny just snuggled up against Andy's chest. After twenty minutes or so we decided to turn her around as she was more alert and seemed to be bored looking at the ground. The sun had come out and we forgot a summer hat so she had to have a winter one I had in her changing bag. We then snapped a few family photos (we don't seem to have many of us all together) and carried on walking for a bit longer. The time was passing by so we decided to start heading back. So we swapped over and I carried Amelia back. It was actually a really nice walk and seeing as the sun was out for a change. Amelia started to fuss a little on the way back but nothing major. We then went over to my parents house as all the family were about, (apart from my Dad who is trekking in Argentina) my brother had come home from his RAF base for the month, and my Grandparents are also down for the week from Norfolk, so my Mum decided to cook us all a meal.

Hope you all had a nice weekend!
