It seems I have turned into a craftaholic lately! Firstly with the headbands, then the nursery wall decor and now this. I wanted to make Amelia's nursery personal to us, and by making decor ourselves it adds that special touch and also we can decide on colours we would like to coordinate.
This week I am going to show you how I made my butterfly mobile for the Nursery. It does take time and patience but it's pretty easy to make once you get the hang of it.
Butterfly mobile tutorial
Hot glue gun
Nylon thread/fishing wire
Step 9: Next you will need to attach the ribbon to hold the mobile from. Attach 3 or 4 ribbons around the wire ring. Keeping the mobile on a flat surface like this until you have done so. Otherwise you will tangle all of the butterflies like I had done and had to start over! Took me an extra hour to take them all off and thread again.
Step 10: You will then need to attach the ribbon to either a fishing wire if you want it hidden or another ribbon to hang from the ceiling and you are done.
Any questions, feel free to ask me below. Thanks.
